The couple came from the United States to marry at Château de Vallery, in northern Burgundy, about an hour from Paris. Their wedding had a strong art direction and a quiet luxury feel. A ceremony under the trees, a dinner by candlelight, then a speakeasy to end the night.

Château de Vallery stands in open countryside, in the region of some of the finest wines in the world. The couple said their vows under the old trees of the park, with their closest family and friends. The bride wore Danielle Frankel.

the dinner

For the reception, textile artist Mia Sylvia built a structure of her signature drapes above the tables, with hundreds of candles below. The light stayed warm and low, and the evening felt cut off from time.

the speakeasy

Later, the party moved to a speakeasy set up for the night: a dance floor, and a quieter lounge on the side for anyone who wanted a break between dances.
