The wedding at Château Talaud in Provence began with a welcome dinner in the garden and continued with a ceremony at a stone gate and a long dinner outside.
the welcome dinner
The evening before the wedding, guests gathered in the garden. Long tables were set with striped cloths, tomatoes and red peppers, and a guitarist played while everyone talked on the lawn.
the ceremony
The ceremony took place under a stone gate, with wooden chairs and flowers along a gravel aisle. Guests held white parasols while the bride walked down in a long veil. The groom broke the glass, and the couple kissed in front of the gate.
the couple
The couple walked through the gardens, the bride with an orange cocktail in hand. They stopped by a fountain, sat on a stone bench among olive trees and posed in front of a weathered stone archway.
the dinner
Dinner was outside at long tables with crystal glasses, candles and lamps, under string lights. A vintage telephone sat on a round table for guest messages, and the couple cut a white cake together.
